What are the differences between a C paper and an A paper?

What are the differences between a C paper and an A paper? An A paper shows that you meet the highest standard of your writing. What I mean by this, An A paper shows that your paper is well stated, organize that your readers can understand, and sentence structure is perfect.
  • Well-stated paper-A well-stated papers shows you understand the topic and gave supporting details. For examples, if the topic was “How’s joint oil pipeline is going to effect our country?” I would support this by saying, “The benefits of creating a joint oil pipeline between United State and Canada will help to give jobs to thousands of people and help decease the unemployment rate that this country is facing.”
  • Organization-Organization in writing show hows your idea are being presented. This inform your readers of what your going to talk. For examples, “In this proposal, I’m going to show how the joint oil pipeline will benefits our country in numerous ways.” Also it help writers to stay in topic.
  • Sentence structure-To achieve an A on your paper, you need have good grammar skills. With less grammar mistakes your paper will be understandable towards your readers.

After describing these points, The most I feel comfortable with organization. Before I write I brainstorm my ideas and explains how I’m going to present them. On the other hand, Well-stated and sentence structure are my weakest skill. Sometime I always make common mistakes like my past tense and sometime my papers are well-stated.

Blog #2

For this week, I have been gathering ideas for my literacy narratives assignment.
The first topic, I can write about my experience with Jazz. This topic will be great for explaining why I listen and play Jazz. The advantages for writing this topic, I can explain how I got into to jazz, and describing how this type of music express me. However, the disadvantage of writing this paper could be very dull for most of my audience. From what I could tell, not that many people listen to jazz. This will be challenging for me to give vivid details of why I like Jazz.
The second topic, My experience in college. This is a good topic for me, because is an event that is currently in place. I can explain my transition from high school to college, and what I learned from the past semester. However, I believe most audience will be current college students will know that college is a big transition, and also students knows the experience being in college for the first time.

The final topic, I could write about my favorite television show when I was young boy. Spider-Man was my favorite television show when I was a young. I used to watch this show everyday when I was young right after school. However, I believe this won't be a good idea to write about, because I don't remember why I liked this show and I assume this is an appropriate topic to discuss in my literacy narratives assignment.

Why I'm taking English 101

The reason I register for English: Writing 101 are for the following reasons: improve my ability to communicate though writing and understanding the writing skills that are demand at college level. From what I can tell, writing can be a tough challenge for some people including myself. At first I thought that writing isn’t a big deal in life, but then again, I was wrong. What changes my mind that I discover that most career and jobs are looking for people with great writing skills. Writing skills shows how good you are with proper English and show the you can communicate though writing.
I believe that Northeastern Illinois University made a good choices for putting me in this course. My goals for this semester are to improve on my writing, so students and teachers could understand what I’m trying to discuss and moving beyond five-paragraphs essay to a multiple paragraphs essay. To achieve these goals, I need remember that being a good writer requires a tons of practices. I can practices by making more then one draft of essays, proofreading my essay, and going to the NEIU Writing Lab for additional help. If I achieve those goals I will be pleased and honor that I took that course. I believe this course is preparing me when I’m taking other courses in the future.
